I approach teaching yoga with the philosophy that each body is unique and carries with it its own history, limitations, strengths and weaknesses. I believe that yoga can and should be personalized to achieve maximum benefits for the individual. I teach with a strong emphasis on alignment and breath as well as a sense of humor and joy. It is my hope that each of my students leaves a class or session feeling a sense of ease in body, breath and mind.
Private and Semi-Private Sessions
Whether you are looking for an introduction to yoga before beginning group classes or you are looking for personalized instruction to deepen your practice, private sessions are an ideal way to make yoga part of your life. Prior to our first session, we will discuss what you are looking for out of a yoga practice. The style and pace of the classes will depend on your goals and abilities. I will tailor our sessions together accordingly.
In addition to private sessions, I'm happy to work with a small group (2-4 people) in the comfort of your home. You get the individual attention of a private session along with the community of a group yoga class.
