Healthy Spine Yoga
Tuesday afternoons, 12:30 - 1:45 pm

A healthy and strong spine is essential to full body health as well as emotional well-being. In this class, we use precise alignment cues as well as the support of various props to complete a well-rounded practice that can help bring awareness, strength and flexibility to the spine. This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners, including those with various back conditions such as scoliosis, mild herniations, and generalized back discomfort. Students, however, should be able to get up and down from the floor without difficulty; no acute or major injuries or medical conditions please.
Foundations & Flow
Wednesday evenings, 7:30-8:30 pm
Hastings Yoga (45 Main Street, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706)
With a focus on safe and proper alignment, this gentle to moderate flow class will give students a solid foundation in yoga poses and will introduce students to breathing techniques, deep relaxation and meditation. This class is perfect for the beginner student as well as those looking for an alignment-based flow. Register in advance or simply drop in.
Small group class
Wednesday mornings, 9:30-10:45 am
Classes held in the Rivertowns (location upon request)
A gentle to moderate vinyasa class with a focus on alignment, breath and mindful movement. Small class size allows for individual attention.
